Macro Preparation

Sword/Fist/Maces Rogues
/equipslot 16 Warp Slicer
/equipslot 17 Infinity Blade

Dagger Rogues
/equipslot 17 Warp Slicer
/equipslot 16 Infinity Blade

Modify above as appropriate for the weapons needed.

All Dagger wielders
Use the following to break people out of Mind Control
/cast Shiv (or Sunder Armor or Hamstring or some spammable, low damage attack)
/stopattack

All Staff wielders
Use the following to ensure Staff buff is always up
/use Staff of Disintegration
/cast Fireball (or whatever spell you will be casting most often)

All DPS
/target Phoenix Egg

Phase 1

Phase 1 Notes:

  • This phase is not timed. We take each mini bosses separately.
  • All AOE mana users must be full mana at the end of the fight.
  • Get used to these names and this order: Thaladred, Sanguinar, Capernian, Telonicus (known as the engineer)
  • Do not die during this phase. This phase is teh newb.

Phase 1 Strat:

Thaladred: We don't tank him, kite him around. Don't get close to him, make sure his dies close to the middle.

Lord Sanguinar: Derrick will tank and stance dance, fear ward cast sequence by priests as called. Will die in right cubby.

Grand Astromancer Capernian: 2 Warlock tanks. Misdirect to Sarudani and Slider standing in middle of room. Sarudani in medium FR gear will eat up conflags. Warlocks attempt to stay between 30-35yds away. One prot warrior 20yds away and no one else within 35yds of her. At 10% kite her to the back of the room.

Lord Telonicus: X will tank him up where he is supposed to be. Melee stay away from the tank. Stop DPS at 15%. At 15% X put up Judgment of Wisdom on him and have all casters wand back their mana until he reaches 5%. Stop all DPS and ensure that no tank has Remote Toy before you proceed into phase 2. Will die in left cubby.

Phase 2

THE TIMER STARTS NOW!!! - BRING THE DPS.

Phase 2 Notes:

  • Pick up your weapon immediately after it dies. You have 60 seconds before it despawns. See below for Weapon Selection
  • Weapons despawn after dying, running back or 15 minutes.

Phase 2 Strat:

When all the weapons come out they must all be tanked by different tanks and then AoE'd; X will pop bloodlust when all tanks have threat.

  • Niall will pick up Devastation (Axe) and put it right around Kael 10yds away from the other weapons.
  • Hondoh will start building threat on the Netherstrand Longbow and tank it facing away from the raid.
  • Sromkie will pick up the Infinity Blade (Dagger) and tank it in the group.
  • Deluded will pick up the Phaseshift Bulwark (Shield) and tank it in the group.
  • A fury warrior will tank the Cosmic Infuser (Mace) in the group. If no other off-tank present, Sromkie will take the shield and Deluded the mace.
  • Derrick will tank the Warp Slicer (Sword) in the group.


All melee DPS on Staff of Disintegration, stun and interrupt. Houser will attempt to grab aggro and evade thru the remaining damage until it dies. Then melee burn down a combination of mace/dagger/sword (not to pull aggro on any 1 mob), while ranged finishes the bow. Then move on to the AoE while staying at max AoE range from the axe which whirlwinds. If AOE threat becomes to high - switch to single target, Axe or Shield.

Sarudani will put CoT on the staff and mace and keep them up till dead; CoD on Axe and Shield. Slider will tab dot all the weapons except staff with CoS. Tamlyn will also tab dot with SW:P and possibly Shadow Weaving.

Once other weapons begin dying, single target down the remaining ones. Axe and shield should be last.


MAKE SURE TO LOOT YOUR LEGENDARY WEAPON/SHIELD BEFORE IT DESPAWNS!!!

All healers need the mace.

All casters and feral druids need the staff.

All tanks need the shield.

All melee dps needs the sword/daggers or axe if 2-handed. Tanks should take one as well.

All hunters need the bow.

Phase 3

Phase 3 Notes

  • Weapons may not all be down before this phase starts. Apply dots to remaining weapons to finish them off but shift focus to advisers.

Phase 3 Strat:

All the phase 1 adds will respawn where they were killed.

  • Sarudani will have to tank Capernian where she died; being healed by one healer, preferably a paladin for BoPs in case of Gaze.
  • Derrick will tank Lord Sanguinar where he died; being healed by a priest applying fear ward when called.
  • Telonicus will be tanked by Sromkie where he died; being healed by one healer.
  • Niall will likely still have the axe, taking it out of the way to be dotted. One healer needed here as well.
  • Raid healer(s) will be prepared to replace a healer that gets Thaladred's gaze.
  • Ranged dps will turn to Thaladred (who Deluded will follow carefully with the dagger to keep up the debuffs) then to Sanguinar. Deluded will need one healer.
  • Melee dps will kill Telonicus and then Sanguinar.
  • Capernian can be tanked indefinitely and should die to dot's.

Before end of phase 3 all dangerous or valuable cooldowns like Heroism should be used up so they wont be up for Kael to ninja during a Mind Control.

Phase 4

Phase 4 Notes:

  • ALL DPS MAKE A MACRO: /target Phoenix Egg
  • There is a lot going on during this Phase - Be on Your game - Know your role.

Phase 4 Strat:

When Phase 4 pops, clean up any of the remaining adds, Derrick, healers and melee should be waiting for Kael to spawn.

We need to constantly interrupt the fireballs that he casts, along with staying out of the flamestrikes.

Niall will grab the phoenixes out of the flamestrike and tank them to the right of Kael. When they despawn, ALL dps must kill the egg ASAP so that another does not spawn.

All melee dps will be breaking the raid members out of their MC's by using their lowest dps abilities (shiv, sunder armor) Mages should also sheep any mind controlled players they see before a melee can break them out of it.

Make a macro: /cast sunder armor /cast shiv (or whatever low dmg attack you have) followed by /stopattack

When shield cast and pyros begin, apply a hi powered PW:S to Derrick before the 2nd pyro lands. Big heals must be queued up to land immediately following the 2nd pyro. Rogues prepare to kick the 3rd pyro right before it finishes.

Lastly, throughout this phase make sure that the staff buff is up at ALL TIMES. It can lead to a wipe if it isnt.

Phase 5

Phase 5 Notes:

  • Don't panic, it's the home stretch.
  • Keep healing while in the air.

Phase 5 Strat:

He will shoot people up into the air (anti-gravity like) and we have to swim away from each other as to not chain damage. Also, watch for the nether vapor at his feet which goes away about 5 seconds after gravity lapse ends, DO NOT TOUCH THE PURPLE STUFF AT HIS FEET. Right before gravity lapse ends, swim near the ground but not touching it to avoid fall damage. Rinse, repeat, and collect loots.

Miscellaneous

  • AFK's are not an option.
  • You cannot "Reset" this fight at any phase.
  • Try and not get feared into the door which we entered.
