Protection

At level 80, a player will need a total of 540 defense skill to be uncrittable by raid bosses. This is equivalent to 689 defense rating.

Retribution

Quoting from Redscape's Retribution DPS Calculator:

SoB/SoM are the best seals. If you cannot risk the damage SoC is in second place even without a Glyph, though if you find 5 points for SotP then SoR becomes pretty reasonable.

The best Glyph setup is CS, Judgement, Consecration. When you are running SoB in a raid situation you should have so much mana you don't know what to do with it all.

When using SoB your DPS return on 100 of each stat is as follows:

Rotations, Methods, Tips and Tricks

Elitist Jerks suggests that 1/2 Improved Judgement (versus 2/2) is actually a DPS improvement due to fewer cooldown conflicts. This will likely change if you have 4pT7.

Attack Priorities

Single Target: Judge > (Hammer of Wrath) > Divine Storm* > Crusader Strike > (Exorcism) > Consecrate for single targets

(*must have 2pieces of Tier 7 and the libram from Grizzly Hills)

Multitarget (3+): Divine Storm > Consecrate > Judge > Hammer of Wrath (try to target mobs below 20% then switch back) > Crusader Strike > Exorcism
